One of the most common questions that everyone asks in regards to Google AdSense is what are the highest paying keywords I can build content around? You’ll find threads on this subject in various forums all the time.
Answers to this question will inevitably mention keywords such as mesothelioma, DUI lawyers, mortgage, etc. Then you’ll find those high paying keyword lists floating around that include ones that have bids in the $60 range.
It sounds real good. Target some of those keywords, get your site up and rake in the cash. Unfortunately, this is a myth and doesn’t work. What happens is reality is that people do this and when they get any clicks at all, they find they are paying anywhere from less than a dollar, up to $3.00 or so. That’s a far cry from those $60 bids. So what’s happening? Why aren’t you getting $20-$30 for that click?
